How to activate Standby mode?

This guide shows how to activate and deactivate Standby mode, both via the app and directly on the radiator.

Standby mode pauses the radiator, minimizing energy consumption.
This energy-saving mode is useful when heating is not required, but you want to keep the radiator ready for use.

 

Procedure

 

  1. Make sure your smartphone is near the radiator.
     

  2. Open the IRSAP NOW app and log in.
     

  3. Connect the app to your radiator.
  1. Tap the three dots at the top right of the radiator’s homepage
  1. Select Device details

 

 

ACTIVATION
  1. Next to Standby, slide the grey switch to the right

     
  2. The switch will turn blue to indicate Standby mode is ON (Radiator paused)

 

DEACTIVATION
  1. Next to Standby, slide the blue switch to the left

     
  2. The switch will turn grey to indicate Standby mode is OFF (Radiator ON)

 

 

Procedure (Directly on Radiator)

STANDBY ACTIVATION
  1. Press the power button to turn the display on
  2. Press and hold the power button until SB (standby) indication appears
  3. Release the power button  

 

STANDBY DEACTIVATION
  1. Press the power button to turn the display on
  2. Press and hold the power button  until the previously set mode reappears (before activating Standby)
  3. Release the power button   

 

 

How the radiator works in Standby mode

When Standby mode is ON, the radiator is paused. This means:

  • Scheduled programming suspended: The radiator will not follow time-based programs.

  • Manual changes ignored: Temperature adjustments made directly on the radiator will not take effect.

  • App changes ignored: Temperature adjustments made via the app will not be applied.

 

 

How to check the Standby mode status

  1. Make sure your smartphone is near the radiator.
     

  2. Open the IRSAP NOW app and log in.
     

  3. Connect the app to your radiator.
     

  4. Tap the three dots at the top right of the radiator’s homepage
     
  5. Select Device details.
    • Standby ON (radiator paused): Blue switch
    • Standby OF (radiator active): Grey switch
  1. Press the power button to turn the display on
  2. If Sb (Standby) appears on the display, Standby mode is active/ON.
